One Month

Ohh, as it was pointed out by a friend, it has been exactly one month since starting this blog. Consistency, fail - unless I decide to do a monthly blog (which is more likely to happen). So if that's the case, I am succeeding - the glass is half full.

For a while I have been trying to figure out a reason for this blog. I won't be posting about my daily life, so I've gone the route of trying to be creative. Thus, I will use this blog to motivate myself in indulging in all things creative.

I am no artist, but I like to try. So, I'll update with random art projects I may attempt - film, photos, origami, music, building bat boxes or other things, etc. All things I would like to be accomplished at, all things that I have no idea where to start.

But it's all good, life is art. Yes, that was cheezy.

2003 - Mock Picasso's Don Quixote using Word Paint.
I should have been studying for exams. It was a good five minute distraction.

Baby steps.

First things first... equipment. Yay and Ugh... This may be pricey, but I guess its better than spending money on drugs. Along with the outdoor gear I'd like to purchase, this should be AWESOME. I have to learn how to use all these new toys, but that's whats going to be the best part. Trial and error.

Why am I doing this? I don't like to be idle, and this seems to be a good way of exercising my brain. Plus, with the inspiration and help of many creative friends, why not.

It's spring, time for a new beginning (although, the photo below was not taken in the spring).
